1 lb. of boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 pint mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Lightly grease crockpot. Place whole chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Quarter mushrooms and put on top of chicken. Combine soup, sour cream and onion soup mix, and pour over chicken and mushroom mixure. Cook on low for 6 hours, remove chicken and cut into bite size pieces. Chicken will be very, very tender.
This hearty stew of comfort is great served over egg noodles.
