Cedar Planked Salmon with Asian BBQ Marinade

1 salmon filet (5 to 6 pounds)
juice of one medium lemon
1/2 t ground ginger
1/2 C Asian barbecue sauce
1/2 C soy sauce
cedar plank

Make marinade from soy sauce, barbecue sauce, ginger and lemon juice.  Spread marinade on salmon filet and let it sit for about two hours.

Soak cedar plank according to manufacturer’s directions.  If you purchase untreated cedar planks from the hardware store, soak for about two hours before using.

Pre-heat grill to medium-high.  Place planked salmon on grill, close cover and cook for 12 minutes or until fish flakes gently.
